Getting fitted and ordering a custom electric wheelchair or other medical devices can be a very time-consuming process with frequent visits to doctors and physical therapists all while taking time away from treatment, school, and family.

After spending thousands of dollars on a personalized electric wheelchair, families are left with one specialized wheelchair that their child will outgrow. In the span of 12 to 18 months families will need to invest many more thousands of dollars in order to get a new appropriately sized wheelchair. In the span of a child’s upbringing, there will be multiple wheelchairs bought and outgrown.

It would be possible for your family to get the proper wheelchair you need only for the time you need it for. 

PROFILES

Ideally we will be able to develop profiles that can make your search for medical equipment more time efficient. Create a personal profile to get matched with equipment that works for your child. This can help find special deals or find equipment within your price range.

SELL OLD EQUIPMENT

Due to children outgrowing their wheelchairs or other aides, families have to replace an expensive but ill-fitting device with a properly fitted one. We offer a trade-in program for your families who are in possession of unused equipment so that instead of your investment wasting away, you may sell your used equipment for trade-in value.

      We are a group of driven students from Cal Poly trying to revolutionize the way people approach niche medical equipment.. Medical equipment is often extremely expensive and can tend to depreciate quickly. Beyond this, children tend to outgrow their equipment, leaving families having to constantly upgrade, spending large amounts of money, with no alternative solution. Medikaiz is a company that allows families to save thousands of dollars, while not having to sacrifice quality.
     We lease out medical equipment rather than selling it, which will allow customers to not have to deal with the hassle of buying and spending an absurd amount of money and time on equipment that will not last long. Medikaiz is a family oriented business focusing on innovation, improvement, and quality.
